The Smugglers Inn - Minehead

It was an incredible and brilliant location for us, close enough to the sea, Watchet and the beach.

Disappointing aspect was very small bathroom.

Actually everything was lovely, my next choice again in Minehead. My 2 nights in Minehead were really enjoyable. I could get suite with a garden view, liked that. I had a comfortable bed, and central heating, an iron, and coffee/tea making machines. The employees were very attentive and efficient.

Great Stay with Room for Improvement

Spent one night in the Beautiful Double Room. While the no-door setup for the middle room was a bit odd, the location was perfect for exploring Minehead. Dinner at the onsite pub was good. The fish and chips were a highlight! Just bring an eye mask for a sounder sleep.

I enjoyed the spacious room and comfortable bed. The lovely breakfast hamper was a good touch, filled with fresh pastries and local produce, setting a wonderful tone for the day.

The room was spacious, and I loved the cozy beer garden where rabbits played! 🐇 the shower cubicle was quite small. a decent stay!

I loved the large and comfortable Superior Double Room with separate spaces for lounging and dining. Each morning, getting my breakfast in a good picnic hamper filled with fresh pastries and local treats made waking up a joy. The atmosphere was improved with the charming beer garden where I enjoyed live music while sipping a refreshing drink under the stars.

Our stay was primarily for a relaxing yoga retreat, and the spacious room made it easy to unwind. The charming decor really added to the atmosphere, making you feel right at home. the breakfast hamper was a delightful surprise, filled with fresh pastries that set a positive tone for the day. the bathroom lighting could have been more comfortable, which was a minor inconvenience.

Awesome breakfast & great location!

The breakfast was a highlight, getting a hamper full of tasty goodies delivered to our room was just perfect! We managed to grab dinner in the restaurant too, delish. Only thing was that the room felt a bit dated, could use some upgrades.

We stayed for 2 nights in a superior double room, and it was very good. The gorgeous decor and the delicious breakfast hamper with fresh pastries made our mornings good. We especially loved the cozy beer garden with rabbits playing around.

Really good breakfast hamper, lovely room!

The Beautiful Double Room gives a comfortable space for couples, and the overall layout is somewhat charming. The estate has a traditional feel which adds character to the experience.

The middle room connected to the bedroom lacks a door or curtain. Timed lighting can leave you in the dark for a while before switching off, only to be disrupted by an omnipresent green exit light afterward. The mattress needs serious upgrading, and the shower is cramped-definitely not for a Wookiee. A little paint refresh could work wonders. Peeling sections don't set a relaxing mood. The restaurant pricing feels high considering the quality, particularly with burgers costing £17. Not a deal breaker, but it could be better.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Nice staff, everything was great.- The location was marvelous and brilliant with good views.- It was placed close to the beach.
